FCS standards of dress are based on Biblical principles. We seek to enforce a reasonable dress code – meaning we ask students to dress in a way that honors God, themselves and those around them. More information about FCS dress code can be found in the handbook.
There is bussing available if you reside in the Milaca or Princeton school district.
Hot lunches are not offered. Students are expected to bring their own lunch to school. However, pizza day is offered every other week. Students can get a slice of pizza for $1.85 along with other goodies such as chips, veggies, fruits, cookies, or bars.
Classes go from 8:25 am – 2:40 pm. Office hours are from 7:45 am – 4:00 pm.
Parents and families are not required to volunteer. If you would like to volunteer you may call, email, or stop in at the office.
As a general rule, families can anticipate a homework load of about 10 minutes times the grade they are in. Example: A third grader could expect around 3 x10 or 30 minutes of homework on an average night.
While we do not require you to have a church membership, we do ask that you attend a church so we know that the priorities of your family align with the priorities of our school.
Before and after school care provides for ages preschool to 5th grade. Students can be dropped off as early as 7:30am. There is no cost for this. After school care is offered from 3 – 5 pm. After school care arrangements must be made by noon to receive after care that day. The cost of after care is $8 per student per day. Students who stay after school will receive a snack, homework time, and recreational time.
